The first Wine Society event of 2022 was held at the Original Copper Cellar on Cumberland Avenue. Featured were 5 wines, rated outstanding, selected from Wine Enthusiast’s “Top 100 best wine buys of 2021”. Cheese & fruit displays were positioned at each table to enjoy with the aperitif, and 4 small plate courses were provided to pair with the dinner wines. The food and wines all received very favorable comments from the guests. During the dessert course, drawings were held for one bottle each of the 5 highly rated wines.
